45 PROVINCE Announces Lease Agreement with the
Torit Language Center Montessori
School will occupy two floors and serve children from infants to kindergarten age
Boston, MA— 45 PROVINCE announced today a lease agreement with the Torit Language Center Montessori that will open a two floor 6,000 sf. school at the downtown Boston luxury condominium high rise building. The center will be open for the 2011-12 academic year and will serve children from 12 weeks through six years old. The school at 45 PROVINCE will house six classrooms, a movement and visual art studio, an indoor gross motor room, and a parent lounge.
“I want to congratulate the Torit Language Center Montessori on their expansion into the 45 Province building,” Mayor Thomas M. Menino said. “This facility will be a great asset for the residents who live in the area and encourage other families to live in our downtown.”
"We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to 45 PROVINCE, Torit Language Center Montessori,” said Audrey Epstein Reny, Director of Marketing for The Abbey Group. “By partnering with the Torit Language Center Montessori and bringing this innovative school into our building, we continue our commitment to both our residents and our downtown neighborhood. This newest amenity reinforces our family friendly environment and adds another level of convenience for parents living at 45 PROVINCE. We are in the heart of the city, are home to a wide group of residents and appreciate the global curriculum that Torit School teaches its students."
Torit Language Center Montessori brings an exceptional staff with 100+ years of cumulative experience with early childhood education. This coming fall will mark the fourth year in operation for Torit Language Center Montessori, with the original schoolhouse remaining at 41 Bromfield Street, conveniently located just next door to 45 PROVINCE. At the new 45 PROVINCE location, residents of 45 PROVINCE will have on-site access to the school, as well as priority enrollment.
Torit teaches children in the Montessori tradition, a tradition researched, honed and perfected for more than 100 years. In keeping with Dr. Maria Montessori's own globalism and commitment to peace education, the Torit School teaches the foreign languages of Arabic, Mandarin and Spanish, and celebrates holidays spanning the traditions of Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Chinese cultural traditions. An exceptional curriculum for children is complimented by schedules and offerings designed to support busy families. This fall, The Torit School will offer a small selection of its early childhood foreign language and music programs to parents and children from the public. This will enhance the vibrancy of downtown for young families, a goal aligned with the influence that 45 PROVINCE has already had on the area.
Kristen Mansharamani, Torit School Founder, comments, ”We are privileged to be working with the Abbey Group and 45 PROVINCE. Montessori teaches children many things at the earliest of ages but one core tenet is the teaching of responsibility for maintaining and creating the environment and immediate world around you. At 45 PROVINCE, the Abbey Group redefined an entire area in the heart of Boston. They did not simply meet a need, but met that need with a “best of class” offering. The Torit School was founded to meet the need for additional early education options downtown, and to create an unparalleled early childhood school experience. Parents at home cannot match the rich Montessori curriculum, or the quality Arabic and Mandarin language instruction that Torit offers. We look forward to cultivating a longstanding relationship with the Abbey Group, 45 PROVINCE, its residents and the entire downtown neighborhood.”

About Torit Language Center Montessori
Torit Language Center Montessori is, first and foremost, a Montessori school. The founder’s vision drives the innovative introduction of Mandarin, Arabic and Spanish. Though unusual among Montessori offerings, foreign language instruction integrates perfectly with Dr. Maria Montessori’s belief, and the current research, that children are in a sensitive period for language acquisition from 0 – 5 years old, a window not to be missed. The Torit School marries a new vision for early childhood education with the wealth of more than 100 years of cumulative experience brought by its highly trained and educated staff. Supervisory and Lead Staff members are American Montessori Society trained and certified. The staff holds Master’s Degrees from prominent area universities in literacy, child psychology and early education. Teachers have training and experience in special needs, visual and creative arts, dance and physical education. The Torit School offers schedules to accommodate working parents.
